Sports Injury Treatment
Physical activity is good for you right up until something gives. Whether it is a weekend pickup game or a varsity season, the same rule applies: an injury that is evaluated early usually heals faster and comes back less.
Dr. Raby serves as the chiropractor for the St. Thomas Aquinas High School Men's Lacrosse Team and treats athletes of all ages and levels.
Injuries we commonly see
- Sprains and strains of the knee, ankle, wrist and shoulder
- Tendon injuries — Achilles, patellar, rotator cuff, tennis and golfer's elbow
- Plantar fasciitis, especially in runners
- Low back and hip pain from rotational sports
- Sciatica and other nerve irritation following a hard fall or twist

How we approach sports injuries
Care may include adjustments to restore joint motion, soft-tissue work such as myofascial release, SoftWave Therapy for tendon-related injuries, and a progressive stretching and strengthening program to get you back to play and reduce the chance of re-injury.
