Phase 1: Relief Care
The goal is to get you out of pain
Most people come to a chiropractor because something hurts. In the first phase of care the priority is reducing your symptoms and restoring enough motion for you to get back to daily life. Depending on your condition this can mean two or three visits a week for a few weeks.
It is worth knowing that feeling better is not the same as being fixed. Pain is often the first thing to improve while the underlying joint or muscle problem is still there. That is why relief care is the start of a plan, not the whole plan.
